"Music therapy has been integral in ensuring our child's quality of life and has helped her gain skills that we thought might not be possible. We are very thankful for her therapist and the service she provides."
Resiliency Through Music is a remote music therapy program for individuals of all ages wanting to explore new ways to use music to improve their overall well-being and to better cope during difficult or stressful times.
During four sessions with a board-certified music therapist, you will explore songwriting, creative avenues for self-expression, and how to create playlists to help with anxiety, mood, sleep, or physical activity. You will also learn how to think about and listen to music in a different way to improve thoughts and well-being. This short-term music therapy program teaches you to build new skills that you can implement into your life right away!
Resiliency Through Music is intended to be a jumping off point for participants to learn skills that they will use independently when the program is complete. The ideal Resiliency Through Music participant is looking to better their mental health. The ability to maintain attention, respond to verbal prompts, and interact with the therapist via video chat is required, or assistance from a family, friend, or staff member will be expected.
